“Family Easter break at Berwick holiday park”

We stayed in caravan 18 Eskdale Way. The caravan was very modern and had all the amenities we’d expect. The Caravan was clean and could see it was very well maintained.
The location on the site was perfect for us, lovely views of the sea and far enough away from the hustle & bustle.
We purchased site passes for the week (£66 for a family of 4) - in my opinion waste of money as other than the swimming (which we didn’t use as there was no space at the same time for my family to go together and also the cleanliness wasn’t for me) all other activities where an extra cost. But that’s a Haven issue.
We visited the local leisure centre swimming pool which was lovely & clean, only a 9min drive away and very reasonably priced - less that £20 for a family of 4, a great play bit for the younger kids. Although we didn’t use it they also had a small soft play and an outdoor park - just other ways to occupy the little ones if you fancy a break from the holiday park.
Went on some lovely walks along the beach, to the golf course and into the town centre - the walk is mainly flat, footpath majority of the route the views were just fantastic, especially on the nicer days ☀️
We made a lovely campfire on the beach and toasted marshmallows which the kids loved
I’d definitely visit again but only doing the private rentals, not only cheaper than the Haven rental cost (even with the added cost of passes) Berwick Caravan Hires where really helpful and friendly and very prompt at answering any questions/concerns we had before and during our stay. Our friends hired a caravan on Eskdale way also and again it was lovely and homely and maintained to the same high standards.
The only hiccup we had was the WiFi (I was more than happy to have a screen free break however with a 4 and 13 year old a better reception would have saved some huffs & puffs lol - however given our friends reception - 3 caravans along was perfect - I do think this was a BB provider issue - just unfortunate timing for us)

A would recommend this caravan person as a have only hade 2 caravans of this lady and the both of them where really clean today and lovely and now if am ever booking a caravan a will do it throw this the kids loved it aswell as thsy hade the beach near buy aswell a will go back every summer and more if a can thanks for letting us stay st your van

Caravan was clean and tidy on arrival, all slept soundly, amazing views over the water. Loved that it was close to wee park and the beach. Kids went crabbing and found loads of crabs. Will defo book again. It was raining yesterday morning so we made use of the board games in the cupboard and had a fab morning. We have been coming to berwick for 7 years but this is first time we went private and will defo look at doing it again

Stunning caravan with a great view of the sea
In a quiet area but only a short walk to all of the park facilities.
Super clean on arrival the interior is modern and lots of lovely little touches
Would definitely recommend this accommodation
And the support of dean at caravan hires was super also .

What a gem. The whole process of booking and gaining access to the caravan was easy. Communication with the service contact, (Dean), was excellent; always with a quick response. The caravan itself was beautiful, with everything you would need for an enjoyable, stress-free break. From smart TV, to microwave, to iron and hairdryer. The caravan was spotless on arrival. The views out onto the water were fabulous. Few minutes into Berwick with its array of shops and eateries and five minutes drive to Asda or Tesco. We will definitely return; thank you. The only advice I would give is to take toiletries (which is to be expected) and toilet roll for your arrival. This review is for 18 Eskdale.
